Popular American streamer and fitness influencer Ashton Hall has disclosed that he could not make his planned trip to Uganda because of the country’s ongoing Ebola outbreak.
Hall shared that health concerns and the travel situation surrounding the outbreak forced him to shelve the visit, disappointing Ugandan fans who had been looking forward to welcoming the social media personality.
The influencer, who has built a massive global following through his fitness content, motivational lifestyle videos and viral online presence, did not indicate when the trip might be rescheduled. However, many supporters have expressed hope that he will eventually visit once the public health situation stabilizes.

Uganda has been responding to an Ebola outbreak linked to cross-border transmission from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Health authorities have implemented surveillance, contact tracing and other containment measures, while the World Health Organization continues to monitor the situation.
The outbreak has also affected international travel. Some countries have introduced additional health measures for travellers from Uganda, and airlines including KLM have temporarily suspended flights to Entebbe because of restrictions affecting their operations.
Despite the setback, Hall’s revelation has only heightened anticipation among his Ugandan followers, many of whom are hoping the influencer will make the journey when travel conditions allow. For now, his planned visit remains on hold as health authorities continue efforts to bring the outbreak under control.
