A fresh storm is brewing across East Africa’s entertainment circles after veteran Ugandan singer Bebe Cool publicly accused former Miss Rwanda Jolly Mutesi of allegedly scamming him.
In a message shared on social media, Bebe Cool claimed that Mutesi, who he says is based in the United Kingdom, initially contacted him through conversations connected to Rwanda and Arsenal Football Club before allegedly pursuing what he described as a much bigger mission.
The singer went further, claiming he has gathered enough evidence to identify the person he believes was behind the communication. He alleged that the individual used contacts and financial channels connected to Uganda and hinted that more information could soon be made public.
Bebe Cool also suggested that the matter stretches beyond his own experience, claiming there may be other alleged victims. He stated that interactions involving people who physically met the suspect helped him confirm the identity of the person he is accusing.
The explosive claims have immediately attracted attention because they come at a time when Mutesi has been making headlines for her lavish lifestyle and recent unveiling of a multimillion-dollar mansion that generated significant buzz online.
Despite the serious allegations, no public response from Jolly Mutesi was visible at the time of writing, and the claims made by Bebe Cool remain allegations that have not been independently verified.
What has added even more intrigue to the saga is Bebe Cool’s promise that screenshots and additional evidence could be released, raising the possibility that this already dramatic dispute could escalate further in the coming days.
For now, fans across Uganda and Rwanda are closely watching to see whether Mutesi responds and whether the singer follows through on his pledge to reveal more details about the controversy.
