Fresh allegations have emerged claiming that former Speaker of Parliament Anita Among, with the help of FUFA President and Budiope East MP Moses Magogo, had arranged the procurement of 20 luxury VIP tickets intended for 15 Members of Parliament and selected senior parliamentary staff.

According to the claims circulating online, each legislator was reportedly expected to receive an allocation approaching Shs100 million, including a daily allowance of about US$700 over a period of 39 days.

The reports further allege that the proposed arrangement was abandoned after investigations into Among intensified. However, no official investigative agency has publicly confirmed the existence of the alleged ticket procurement plan or the reported allowances.

The claims come at a time when Among remains the subject of high-profile investigations into alleged corruption and financial misconduct, with security agencies having carried out searches linked to the broader inquiry.

Neither Among nor Magogo has publicly responded to the latest allegations regarding the reported VIP ticket arrangement, and no official documents have been released to verify the figures being circulated.

As investigations continue, attention remains focused on whether authorities will address the latest claims or whether additional evidence will emerge regarding the alleged procurement plan.
