There was no stopping Ivan Ahimbisibwe this season.

The KCCA FC striker has officially finished as the Uganda Premier League top scorer, completing a deadly campaign that turned him into one of the most feared forwards in the country.

After narrowly missing out last season while still at URA FC, Ahimbisibwe arrived at Lugogo with unfinished business and he has now delivered in style.

The forward, nicknamed “The Hunter,” spent the season terrorizing defenders with clinical finishing, sharp movement and ice-cold composure in front of goal.

For KCCA fans, this is more than just an individual award.

It is a statement.

The club has been desperate to return to dominance after years of frustration, and Ahimbisibwe’s golden boot heroics have suddenly injected belief back into the Kasasiro Boys faithful.

The striker’s rise has been years in the making.

From Synergy FC to Nyamityobora, UPDF, URA and now KCCA, Ahimbisibwe has built a reputation as one of Uganda’s most consistent scorers.

Last season, he scored 16 league goals for URA and finished behind eventual top scorer Allan Okello.

But this time, the story belongs to him.

Inside Ugandan football circles, many are already calling this his breakthrough superstar season.

At Lugogo, supporters are now demanding more trophies, continental football and a serious title challenge.

And if Ahimbisibwe keeps firing like this, KCCA may finally be waking up from their long sleep.
